Audiologist

Hometown: Austin, Texas
As a native Austinite with over 30 years in audiology, I’m passionate about designing hearing solutions that truly make a difference in people’s lives. I earned both my bachelor of science and master of arts degrees from the University of Texas- Austin, and I’ve had the privilege of mentoring countless audiology students as adjunct faculty with UT Austin and Lamar University. Every person’s hearing needs are unique, which is what makes my work so rewarding. Whether I’m crafting custom ear protection for loud venues or hearing aids for those needing assistance with conversation clarity, I approach each case with care and dedication. As a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, I believe strongly in staying connected with audiology groups at national, state, and local levels. These connections enrich my practice and ultimately help me better serve both the hearing and hearing-impaired communities.

Outside of Work
When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me cheering on the Longhorns with my season tickets to UT women’s basketball. My wife and I share our home with two adorable dogs – Señor Squiggy and Mister Waffles – who keep us thoroughly entertained. I enjoy singing in my church choir and occasionally dusting off my French horn skills. I’m also a surprisingly proficient whistler. Being an Austin native, I love everything about this vibrant city and am thrilled to be part of the Waterloo Audiology team. I look forward to hearing your stories and helping you with all your audiology needs.
